SURUDEV’S LANDSCAPE RESTORATION PROGRAM RESULTS INTO THE CREATION OF A 500000 CAPACITY BINSHUA NURSERY AND AN ECO-VILLAGE IN BINSHUA TO SUSTAIN ACTIVITIES

SURUDEV has developed an eco-village in Binshua with a capacity of producing over 500000 native tree species, ornamentals and other species thanks to the funded project to restore the Njising-Tabenken community forest by AFR100 and One Tree Planted. After planting the required and targeted number of trees within the five year funded time line with One Tree Planted, SURUDEV was able to diversify as a plan to also replace damaged trees in the near future. The Binshua Eco-Village currently hosts some 300000 trees  with some seven staff and  30 volunteers.
