Kari Jackson Bongnda

Kari Jackson is environment and development professional with over a decade of experience in conceptualising, designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of development projects. He has proven expertise in project proposal writing, project management, community mobilization and team work, identification of community needs and devising solutions for a more resilient community in the face of climate change. He is passionate about climate change advocacy, sustainable agriculture and conservation of endangered flora and fauna.

Presently works as an Executive Director at SURUDEV a NGO based at Bamenda, Cameroon. Has received several awards especially as best Servant youth Leader in Cameroon for 2015. Significant achievements in conservation, sustainable agriculture, water management, climate change advocacy, food security, climate change adaptation and climate change mitigation with five major national awards.

Graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from the University of Yaounde and holds several certificates and diplomas in environmental fields notably; Diploma in agro forestry with trees for the Future, Certificate to fight Global environmental problems with GEF-SGP (UNDP), Community organizing for action, work force collaboration and development, strategies for personal growth and development, understanding climate change and management strategies for people and resources with Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
